On October 2nd, 2014, staff and students from Bond Academy/Bond International College participated in the annual Terry Fox Run. Once again, Bond demonstrated its outstanding dedication and enthusiasm to charity through this activity. The Terry Fox Run, an annual event at Bond, had students running or walking a 2.5 km route through the local community.
Prior to the day of the Terry Fox Run, Bond students from Grades 1 to 8 won the Withrow Cup in the cross country track meet. Bond team members exhibited exceptional running ability, displayed their strength, endurance, pride, spirit and sportsmanship at the meet.
We are so proud of how enthusiastically the students, staff and parents embraced the fundraising effort for the Terry Fox Run. The total amount raised for this very worthy cause, so far this year, is in excess of $5,000!
Thanks, again, to the staff, parents and students who participated in, and donated to, the Terry Fox Run, making it a huge success!
A special thank you goes to Mr. Royal Carney for all his hard work in co-ordinating this event.
