Our tree planting afternoon went incredibly well. The cooperation and initiative seen by all the students was lovely and without that, the afternoon would not have gone so smoothly. Younger students were enthusiastic and worked incredibly hard, older students took charge in their groups and showed great leadership.
Everyone was excited and happy to be part of a fun but also important project. Both Tree Ottawa Reps and City of Ottawa employees had great things to say about our students, they should be very proud of their work. It was lovely to have Live 88.5FM join us. Now that we have planted trees at Morrison Park, we will be looking into another location that may be in need and do another tree planting!
