Ulrik Bédos, Principal, TFS West Campus
Ulrik Bédos is a lifelong educator with a passion for nurturing well-rounded students who thrive academically, socially and personally. As both an educator and a parent within the school, he brings a deep understanding of the student journey and a strong commitment to the values of the TFS community.
Appointed Interim Principal of the West Campus in July 2025, M. Bédos is dedicated to fostering a close-knit, supportive environment while ensuring alignment with the broader TFS mission. He is committed to maintaining high academic standards, strengthening continuity between campuses and supporting students at every stage of their development.
With a distinguished 25-year tenure at TFS, M. Bédos has served in a variety of roles including Mathematics and Science teacher, senior teacher, coach, union representative and mentor. He also played a key role in implementing IT systems that enriched classroom learning. His long standing connection to the school — as teacher, parent, and leader — gives him a unique and comprehensive perspective on the needs of the West Campus community.
Originally from Paris, France, M. Bédos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, a Bachelor of Education and a Master of Education with a concentration in Leadership from the University of Ottawa. He is fluent in both French and English, and understands Spanish and Norwegian
