In yet another example of the balance that we strive for here at CDS, members of our Class of 2023 are pursuing a broad range of academic and professional disciplines this year.
The Life and Physical Sciences, including Engineering degrees lead the way having been selected by 40% of our grads, with with Business programs following close behind with 23%. Humanities and Social Sciences programs account for 30% of the selected areas of study, and Visual Arts, professional programs and two students taking a Gap Year round out the tally for this unusual year at 7%.
Some unique and interesting disciplines include: International Development & Journalism, Nanotechnology Engineering, Professional Communication, Health Science, Sport Management, Electrical & Computer Engineering, Motive Power – Fanshawe, Disaster & Emergency Management, Architectural Engineering and Astrophysics.
On the Commerce front, CDS students have accepted offers from Rotman - UofT, Ivey - Western, Desautels - McGill, Sauder- UBC, Lazaridis – Laurier, and the Smith School at Queen’s, among other top schools.
