Music can be a powerful thing, and Yip’s has created its program around that understanding. Benefits include social, creative, and cognitive development, and Yip’s uses it as a basis for delivering the Ontario curriculum. The use of the Montessori method provides some nice overlap, including a foundation in the core Montessori values of empathy and respect. Yip’s has grown to occupy four locations since the first was opened in 1990.
