On Monday, May 4th Bond participated in a special musical event, known as “Music Monday.” “Music Monday” is a special event that is held on the first Monday in May, every year. All schools in Canada are encouraged to sing a specific song at a specific time outside. The idea is for schools to raise awareness that music education is important to maintain in all schools. This year’s song was called “We Are One” and was composed by a 16 year old Canadian boy. It is a beautiful song and Bond did an excellent job singing the song and also discussing why music education is important to them. Bond students truly filled the sky with their voices.
