This February, RHMS celebrated International Day of Women and Girls in Science. This special day was created to recognize full equal access and participation for women and girls in science all over the world not only as beneficiaries, but also as agents of change.
Taking on the greatest challenges currently facing the global community the full and equal participation and leadership of women and girls in the science and technology communities is more important than ever. Now is the time to recognize women’s contributions in research and innovation, smash stereotypes and defeat discrimination.
Here at RHMS, we are committed to recognizing the contributions of women and girls in STEM and work to create an inclusive learning environment that emphasizes strong and visible role models in STEM fields. Our young scientists have been working hard this year as they explore genetics, virology, earth and space systems, paleontology, computer programming and more!
