TFS’ graduating Class of 2016 was featured in the Globe and Mail on Saturday, June 4. Our 68 new graduates are polished and inspiring individuals. It is now time for them to soar and embrace the next chapter of their lives, as true citizens of the world.
Our graduates will be travelling to universities in Canada, the US, and internationally to study programs that range from architecture, commerce, engineering and international relations to medicine, music composition and performance, and physics. Collectively they amassed 8,300 hours in community service over their final two years, earned $2 million in scholarship monies, with 81% achieving over a 90% average on their courses and 100% acknowledged as Ontario Scholars. Impressively, 71% took IB French A Language and Literature, a course designed for native speakers.
As our valedictorian Kathleen C. aptly noted in her speech, her classmates form a wonderful mosaic, each person unique in their talents and gifts, united by deep friendships and a common respect and appreciation for each other’s individuality.
Félicitations ! All of us at TFS wish you the very best in your futures!
