Betina Pickelein, Interim Head of School
Welcome from Our Interim Head of School
As we begin a new school year, I am delighted to welcome both returning and new families to Westmont Montessori School. The start of a new year brings excitement, possibility, and opportunities for learning, growth, and connection.
To our students, welcome back. Whether you are returning to a familiar classroom or joining us for the first time, we are so glad you are here. Westmont is a place where curiosity is encouraged, individuality is celebrated, and every child is supported in reaching their full potential.
Having been part of the Westmont community for more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of seeing generations of students learn, grow, and flourish. What continues to make Westmont so special is the caring and dedicated community of educators, staff, volunteers, and families who work together to create an environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn.
For families considering Westmont, we invite you to discover a community where children are known, supported, and encouraged to develop confidence, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.
As Interim Head of School, I feel honoured to serve this remarkable community and look forward to all that we will accomplish together this year.
My door is always open, and I encourage you to stop by, say hello, share an idea, or ask a question. Thank you for being part of the Westmont community. I am excited for the year ahead and look forward to getting to know each of you.
Warmly,
Betina Pickelein
Interim Head of School
