Observations from parents, students, and alumni indicate that Fieldstone School offers a diverse set of extracurricular activities and unique experiences, allowing students to explore various interests and potential career paths.
There's always something that you could try out at Fieldstone School. They did really have that opportunity for everyone to really explore what they wanted and what they felt like would lead them in their future.
You can really see that graduates of Fieldstone understand who they are as human beings and who they want to be and what they want to do in the future. I think that not a lot of schools provide people with the opportunity to really discover who they are and what they want to do. Not even just figuratively or metaphorically, but literally, the school has a lot of opportunities where people can go out and do different things that they might not have thought of doing, and it can definitely open your eyes in different ways.
What surprised us most about the school was the different recognitions that you could achieve at the school. Our son was able to definitely gain confidence by winning a lot of awards. So we were happy to see that. Fieldstone has supported our son through the Duke of Edinburgh program as well, and that's been great. Our son has won several awards through Grades 11 and 12.
My experience at Fieldstone has shaped who I am today! The kind staff and teachers at Fieldstone allowed me to reach my full potential as a student through their after-school tutorials and the Cambridge curriculum. I especially enjoyed the extracurricular clubs which allowed me to further my horizons in the community and create bonds with students who enjoy the same activities as me. Some of the clubs I joined through my years included: the drama club, model UN, choir, prefects, community outreach, and many more. The diverse groups of students allowed me to learn about other cultures and even languages. Throughout my time at Fieldstone I learned what it meant to create life long friendships and even the core learning habits I use today!
The extracurricular activities at Fieldstone were great! I really enjoyed joining clubs and sports! I can honestly say that I was a part of almost every club Fieldstone offered, and I enjoyed every one of them! The students and teachers allowed for a safe and trusting environment where everybody was able to input their ideas without feeling ridiculed. I especially loved Fieldstone’s extracurriculars because they allowed me to spend time with my friends outside of class, and even make new ones!
My experience at Fieldstone King’s College School has been an enriching one that has pushed me to reach my potential through the extracurricular activities and through the challenging Cambridge curriculum. Through my years at Fieldstone, I was involved in the DECA club, the drama club, the knitting club, the dance club, choir and United Nations club. These extracurriculars taught me public speaking, rhetoric, leadership and empathy. I am grateful that Fieldstone gave me the opportunity to take the Cambridge English, French and Drama exams, which provided me with a more specialized education. The teachers are all caring and genuinely want to help the students. The smaller class sizes really help with creating a relationship with the teachers, which makes you more comfortable to approach them with questions or for feedback. I feel more confident in my success at the University of Toronto because of my Fieldstone education.
The school was definitely open to trying new extracurriculars, as evidenced by their running of a Model UN club. They also poured in a significant amount of resources into cultural clubs, such as the Japanese and Chinese clubs, which shows their recognition of an important base in extracurriculars. I would say that they could definitely invest more in sports in an otherwise strong area for the school.
When I was at Fieldstone, I prided myself in participating in many extracurriculars. Luckily for me, Fieldstone was well-equipped with various clubs and sports, plus there was the opportunity to create clubs of your own. There was the drama club, which did two shows a year, choir, knitting, world affairs, DECA, basketball and so much more. These experiences really enriched my time at Fieldstone.
My daughters are thriving at Fieldstone School. They have been students at the school for four years and have become strong young leaders. They love walking into school and hearing classical music as they are welcomed with warm smiles. They enjoy the playground and the different extracurricular activities offered such as team sports, chess club, public speaking club and so much more. Learning how to play the violin and taking part in the yearly Shakespeare Production has proven to be important moments in their student life. They are eager to go to school every day and look forward to connecting with the supportive teachers and administration. Fieldstone has been able to provide my daughters with a wonderful school experience combining a warm and caring environment on a beautiful campus.

Fieldstone has not only developed my daughters into strong learners but has also been able to develop their sense of community through ongoing extracurricular opportunities. They have always participated in the annual Shakespeare Production, even my youngest daughter in JK. The sports alongside the public speaking contests offered have contributed to daughters becoming strong, well rounded students.
