From the moment we enrolled, it was clear that this institution is dedicated to fostering an inclusive, friendly, and supportive environment for all students. (4.5) School Leadership

The school's leadership is warm, welcoming and open to communication. In fact, the solicit feedback regularly to ensure our child and our family are receiving the expected education and treatment. They are eager to help support us and look for ways to continually improve the experience at Fieldstone. I am very happy with the amount of engagement and communication from the administration - who are heavily invested in the school and the students. We will be coming back next year and highly recommend this school to other families.

The teachers are firm but kind - they are fully engaged in the students' education - they take time to understand each student's unique needs and tailor the lessons/ testing to those who need a little extra. The small class sizes also help with the 1:1 support the students get during the day and in the tutorials after school. The teachers all seem to really enjoy their jobs, and it is reflected in the care the students are getting. Each teacher is very different and has different cultural backgrounds which i believe adds to the learning not just via the curriculum but also in the social development of the students. We are thrilled with the teaching staff at Fieldstone and appreciate the effort that goes into what they do.

My child genuinely loves going to school there, and this enthusiasm stems from several key factors. Firstly, the inclusive atmosphere makes every student feel valued and accepted. The variety of extracurricular activities available also contributes to a well-rounded experience, enabling my child to explore interests beyond academics and develop new skills. This individualized approach not only enhances academic performance but also boosts confidence and self-esteem. However, there is always room for improvement. Fieldstone School could enhance the quality of life for its students by expanding the range of extracurricular offerings, particularly in sports or niche clubs like Lego, gaming, art, etc.

My experience with the parent community has been positive. There is a strong sense of camaraderie among some parents, who often come together to support school initiatives, organize events, and volunteer in classrooms. This active participation fosters a close-knit environment where families feel connected and invested in the school's mission. There is always room for improvement however being such a small school, it is hard to get a large amount of parent sinvolved - i think they are doing a good job where they can.

(3) School Location

The school location was one factor in deciding on Fieldstone as our child's education destination. It's close to major highways and streets, making it easy to commute from outside the area. The school has a large field - great for soccer, football and other outdoor activities. My child does not leave school grounds, but for those old enough to do so, there are many places to grab food or snacks, and it is a lovely neighbourhood to walk around if necessary.
