Qualitative insights

These insights are based on conversations with parents, alumni, and school leadership. Handpicked and curated by our editor, they offer a close look at how the school is experienced and perceived by those who know it best.

The admissions process is supportive and well-organized.

Insider observations indicate that Niagara Christian Collegiate (NCC) provides a seamless admissions process, with approachable staff ensuring effective communication and assisting applicants in aligning their aspirations with the school's offerings.

Applying to the school was easy. And I really liked the process that they went through. They looked at the report cards, and they needed character references from people.
We were communicating with the enrollment department, and it was like I knew them... So the moment we went there, we knew everything.
My children attended the open house, and both of them were blown away. They enjoyed the fact that it seemed to be challenging; it seemed like the teachers were trying to push the kids. And then we found out that they had a bus system, so that made it more of a possibility for our kids to go there.

Starting early and being well-prepared leads to a smoother application experience.

Testimonials from applicants and alumni suggest that initiating the application process early and being well-prepared, such as by visiting the website or attending open houses, can enhance the experience of applying to Niagara Christian Collegiate.

I recommend that families tour the school. Meet the teachers. See how the students interact on campus. And see if it’s a good fit for your child.
I do not remember much about the application process at Niagara Christian Collegiate, as I was going into grade 7 when I applied. I do remember my mom asking me to write an essay about myself, which at the time was a requirement in the application process. I actually had a lot of fun writing my short essay about my interests, goals and anything else I wanted to share. For anyone applying now, I would recommend you apply as soon as you are able and do not worry too much about the cost right away. Studying at a private school is going to cost money, but it is a worthy investment in your future. You get a high-quality education and will study in a very positive and encouraging environment.
The advice I would give to someone applying to Niagara Christian Collegiate is that you should be patient and hopeful because it may take a while for NCC to get back to you. I did not know back then that Niagara Christian Collegiate was such a diverse school with different people from all walks of life. Also, I wish I knew that the school was a bit small and not as big as I imagined it to be. A piece of advice I would give to someone applying to Niagara Christian Collegiate is that they should be excited to come to such a great school, that the workload is not much and the people here are awesome
