At Niagara Christian Collegiate (NCC), you will experience a rigorous academic program in an environment that is based on models of community and family. Within this caring environment, our mission is to Educate, Equip, and Empower each student.

Our small class sizes and dedicated staff allow each student to experience success intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually as we provide an exceptional education designed to prepare students for success in University and life.

As a Christian community, we believe that each student is uniquely gifted and our staff seek opportunities within our programs to let these gifts shine while also equipping students with the understanding that each of these gifts can, and should be, used to continue the Christian works of healing and restoration in a hurting and broken world.

Upon departure from NCC, whether here for one year or seven, each student will be empowered with the knowledge that they are able to make a difference in the world, to embrace the role they play in ensuring that our communities, local and global, are better off for them having been a member.

I am excited that you are considering our community as your next school. Feel free to connect with us about coming for a visit so you can meet our passionate staff, experience our beautiful 130 acre campus nestled on the banks of the Niagara River, and meet some of our incredible students.

I look forward to meeting you!

Mrs. Meredyth Campbell

Qualitative insights

These insights are based on conversations with parents, alumni, and school leadership. Handpicked and curated by our editor, they offer a close look at how the school is experienced and perceived by those who know it best.

School leadership shows genuine care through supportive interactions.

Reflections from parents, students, and alumni illuminate that the leaders and teachers at Niagara Christian Collegiate promote open communication and engage with the community, fostering an environment of genuine care and approachable guidance throughout one's educational journey.

Because I'm a very conscientious parent, I interact with the teachers a lot. I interact with the principal. I want to find out how my children are doing. Thankfully, they do well. I find them very responsive. Whatever you ask, they respond. They explain things. The communication is very good. Parents are informed on a regular basis of what is going on, and I really commend the school for that. I'm thousands of kilometres away from where my children are, but I felt good that I got to know on a regular basis what was happening.
Both the president and the academic dean when I attended NCC were wonderful men and well respected. They were kind, caring, humble, and very capable leaders. After my father passed away, I even received a kind note from the academic dean. I was not the type of student to get into trouble, so I can't speak directly to the discipline issue, however, I still know both of these men to this day, and knowing them, I can say that they would have tried to treat students fairly. The president from that time is currently serving on the board of NCC and the academic dean from that time recently filled in when the school was temporarily without a principal. NCC has an administrative staff that really cares about the NCC community. NCC has a way of becoming more that a job to those in administration. It is a ministry.
Most teachers are friendly and supportive and take on a more delegative or transactional leadership style. The majority of my experience in interacting with teachers and school leaders has been positive, and they make an effort to build a healthy relationship with students through friendly communication. Though one thing I wish school leaders would do more of is to listen to students’ feedback. There are many small details that students wish they could change, and oftentimes they are too afraid to speak out. Perhaps it would be good for school leaders to take the initiative to do so.

School leadership integrates Christian values into its educational approach.

Observations from the school community highlight that leadership at Niagara Christian Collegiate prioritizes Christian values, promoting equality and Christ-like love, shaping both the educational and communal experience.

I have great respect for the teachers, guidance counselors and principals. This is because they are constantly doing their best to integrate you into the Christian lifestyle as this is a Christian school. Also, the principal is really approachable and always checks up on you as he cares about your well-being. Our guidance counselor is always there and available as long as you book an appointment with her beforehand. Overall, the leaders in this school as friendly, encouraging and approachable and always want to see you succeed
Every staff member and administrator signs an oath of belief as a Christian. That stands true in the way they conduct themselves on a daily, offering constructive criticism when needed and also celebrating goals achieved in each student's life. If you are a Christian parent or student you would understand the ethics the staff pitch from. If you are not, please know that the staff are reflecting Christ-like love to the students. No child is less or greater than the other. All are treated equally.
Niagara Christian Collegiate (NCC) school leadership offers students more than just a traditional academic education—it provides a transformative journey that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. Rooted in a rich heritage of Christian values and a commitment to academic excellence. NCC's positive school environment shapes students into well-rounded individuals prepared to excel in their personal and professional lives. NCC communicates effectively and offers a uniquely transformative experience for families seeking an environment where their child will be challenged, supported, and inspired. NCC recognizes that constructive feedback when responding to problems is essential for fostering student growth, confidence, and achievement.
