This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Responsibility: Activities create an awareness of the natural environment and the role we play in taking care of it.
  • Resilience: Learning about climate resiliency and actionable ways that we can all support climate action.

Ecosource’s Kids for Climate Camp engages children in fun environmental activities indoors and out! The day camp provides children ages 6-10 with positive nature experiences and empowers campers to make small changes toward a great impact on the environment and in our communities. The Ecosource Community Hub in downtown Mississauga offers a Teaching Kitchen, outdoor garden, and play area. Summer camp participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Participate in hands-on environmental learning
  • Explore and cook with local food in our Teaching Kitchen
  • Engage in outdoor play and discovery
  • Visit local park spaces and enjoy offsite excursions
