For Vaishali Sridhar, BioTroopers fills a critical deficit in young kids’ education: experiencing the fascination and fun of learning about “the most powerful technology of all,” biology. Her own enthusiasm stems in part from her experience seeing how interested her own own kids were under her guidance. Camps and programs offered by her diverse team give kids hands-on experience with everything from fossils to pond life to human anatomy, as they experiment, discover, and learn. Camps and after-school programs also include explorations in the arts, gaming, and podcasting, to give kids a well-rounded experience.
