John Neretlis started Brick Labs in 2017 using his and his son’s extensive personal collection of LEGO. That gives you an idea of how much he loves LEGO and wants to share that with others. That generosity has since resulted in ever-expanding programming that includes VIB clubs in local schools, Brick Labs’ signature summer camps, and on-site after-school classes. Full-week LEGO Summer Camps for ages 5–12 follow themes like superheroes, engineering, robotics, and fantasy builds, mixing structured LEGO activities with outdoor play. PA Day and March Break camps follow a similar rhythm. Across all their offerings, kids are supported by trained instructors focused on creating a safe, inspiring, enjoyable learning environment. The emphasis on “learning through play” engages kids fully, as they have fun and build together. They learn collaboration, problem-solving, design, as well as some basics of engineering and mechanics.
