This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: Through engaging activities such as language lessons, cultural workshops,, campers are be encouraged to ask questions and explore different aspects of each culture.
  • Creativity: Through activities such, art, music, and dance, campers would be encouraged to explore different forms of creative expression and experiment with different styles and techniques,

Get ready to add some stamps to your passport! Around the world camp introduces campers to the culture and lifestyle of several countries around the world including Senegal, Australia, Mexico and China, to name a few. This program was designed to enhance the social awareness and cultural competency of campers. They will learn about the different customs, social issues, and foods of various cultures through games, activities and cooking!  At the end of the week, campers will participate in a world cultures celebration and trivia game to show what they know through fun cultural exposure!
