Circle Square Ranch is a Christian summer camp offering memorable overnight and day camps. We specialize in offering a multi-level horsemanship program – with decades of experience teaching everyone from total beginners to advanced riders. Aside from the barn, campers can enjoy swimming, high/low ropes, climbing, archery, campfires, tomahawks and many other activities instructed by passionate and qualified leaders. We offer dynamic leadership programs for ages 13 -16. Our programs, including age-appropriate Bible discussions, are designed to give campers opportunities to grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally and physically. We are prioritizing safety and excited to have campers join us again.
The 2020/21 Experience at InterVarsity Circle Square Ranch Grand River
We can't wait to be back on horses and with campers.
If 2020 has taught us one thing, it's that we need to stay flexible. As a result, we've: -delayed registration -planned with flexibility in mind -updated health and safety protocols -explored reduction in camper capacity -modified activities
Safety and training have always been a priority for us, but in 2021, they take on a new dimension. Here is what we are doing to ensure camper safety: -public health guidelines will be met or exceeded -staff training will include enhanced health and safety training -contact tracing protocols may be initiated -COVID-19 and symptom management and care measures will be established.
We are looking forward to creatively welcoming campers back on 2021. We will keep camper families and registrants updated as plans progress.

InterVarstiy Circle Square Ranch Grand River was founded in the 1970s as a program of Crossroads Christian Communications TV program, Circle Square. The popularity of the show created an initial interest in the camp programs, though in time the quality of the camps themselves were the draw independent of it. In 2011 Circle Square was bought by InterVarsity, becoming one of nine camps that organization runs across the country. Begun 1929, the InterVarsity camps contribute to the goal of creating unique opportunities to bring young people together around the personal challenges that a camp setting can provide. At camp kids unplug and turn their attention to the community they find there. The activities facilitate a greater understanding of campers’ talents and abilities, as well as the Christian values that inform the programming. The equestrian programs at Circle Square date back to the camp’s founding four decades ago; as strong as ever, they are a particular draw for many of the families that enrol here.
Again, I found the explore counselors to be energetic, extremely welcoming and deliberate in their attempts to get to know my daughter (And my son who wasn't even a camper yet) and us as parents. They made sure to welcome ... Read More
I love that my children get a variety of activities. To me Circle Square Ranch is what summer is all about. Being outside, riding, meeting friends, swimming, crafts and being with and learning about God.
My kids absolutely adore attending CSR. This is our second year and just like last year they are already excited to come back again next year.

Is it smuck the staff or schmuck the staff?
Either way, Circle Square Ranch staff and volunteers have been getting whip cream pies to the face every week for the last three decades.
It's always a highlight of the week when campers play an elaborate game of hide and seek with the staff. The sounds of laughter, squeals of delight, and campers asking each other, "Did you catch anyone?" can be heard all over the campground.
The staff are good sports, and at least 20 get a whip cream pie to the face every week.
It's definitely a camp favourite....now we just have to figure out what it's called.
It's our birthday! 35 years and 20,000 + campers!
Founded in 1985, Brantford Circle Square Ranch is part of a network of nine Inter-Varsity Camps across Canada.
Over the past 35 years, we have welcomed more than 20,000 + campers to our 135 acres of beautiful, rolling countryside in southern Ontario. We offer many activities including horseback riding, swimming, high ropes and zip line, archery, skateboarding, campfires and Bible studies.
During the summer months, we offer both residential and day camps for children and youth between the ages of 5 and 16. In this camp community, where leadership and faith development is encouraged, children and youth are comfortable asking tough questions about life and faith. We believe that faith in Jesus Christ and an understanding of God’s love leads to a life full of purpose and meaning.
Camp is a fun and safe place for campers to make new friends, experience new things, develop skills and challenge themselves to grow and change. We promise, it will be the highlight of their summer.
