Code-it Hacks - Coding Camp - Pirates of the CODING world!

This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Resilience: When young kids learn to code, they become problem solvers and develop critical thinking. With any problem solving, children have to stay with the problem long enough to find meaning solutions. Coding develops
  • Creativity: Code-it Hacks Inquiry and play based summer camps ensures that technology is used towards solving a real-life problem that is out of the box. Each camp demands students to engage in fun group-based activities to develop creative solutions all while having a blast with crafts and technology

Solution Topic

  • Improve math skills and computational thinking while learning the basics of Coding
  • Create animations and simple games using block-based CODING

Design , Experiment, Build

  • Learn the engineering process
  • Ideate and brainstorm your pirate characters and saving strategies for your game
  • Learn the basics of Coding
  • Create amazing animations, stories and simple games with CODE

  • Campers will work in teams and learn the basics of Design thinking and Coding

  • Coding campers will have an afternoon maker session with circuit and robotics

  • Students will either visit Science centre on Friday or will be visited by a tech company for expo
