This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Interest and pleasure in exploring creative potential. Tendency to see novel solutions to problems.
  • Curiosity: Love of learning. Intellectual engagement. Enthusiasm for experiencing the world. Proclivity to develop passions and interests.

Stretch your creativity through storytelling! Movie-Making campers will learn multiple filmmaking skills, from taking an idea in the pre-production stage all the way to a finished product. Working in small groups, participants will learn how to write a story, create complex characters, and how to film and edit a short film! At the end of each week, family and friends will be invited to view the finished movies at the Crescent Film Festival!

Two age group offerings, 10-11 July 10th & 31st weeks & 12-13 week of July 24th
