This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: Through exposure to a range of learning experiences in a supportive and stimulating environment, campers develop curiosity and confidence in their vision.
  • Creativity: By practicing a variety of creative activities in a supportive, flexible environment, campers stimulate their creativity and are given the skills and direction to bring their ideas to life.

In late June, Explorations offers a week-long session of summer activities for ages 9-10 at our Learning Lab. Give your child a chance to find their new favourite! Our passionate and experienced instructors introduce campers to a wide range of arts and tech activities, build on each other as the week progresses. Campers work in groups as well as independently.

The single week of Early Camp provides unique workshops on each day, offering a variety of our most popular Arts & Technology activities:

  • June 29: Video Game Design
  • June 30: Animation
  • July 1: Photography & Digital Music Composition
  • July 2: Improv Theatre & Sketch Comedy
  • July 3: Moviemaking

Each day includes lunch and snack breaks, as well as outdoor active time.
