Summer Baseball Camp (Vaughan Location)

Field of Dreams Baseball Camp will be running its 14th summer of camp in 2024! This summer we are excited to be hosting THREE special event weeks: an inter-camp wiffle ball tournament, our third annual Baseball Olympics and our sixth annual camp wide wifle ball tournament. For 2023 we will be bringing back our giant inter-camp wiffle ball tournament hosted at our very own Vaughan Location. Campers from the Aurora and Scarborough camps will be bussed to Vaughan for the day to all compete against each other in a wiffle ball tournament for the ultimate wiffle ball championship! 

The camp provides participants a choice of two different programs: A High Performance Camp and a Rookie Ball Camp (High Performance is geared toward the more competitive player and Rookie Ball is for beginners and recreational players). Both programs include baseball instruction in hitting, catching, fielding and throwing, as well as pitching and catching clinics run by experienced instructors. All campers will have an opportunity to participate in live games/scrimmages, a mini wiffle baseball league, weekly skills competitions, along with an award ceremony at the end of each week. 

The goal of FOD is to develop the baseball player as a whole, by teaching the fundamentals and proper skills of the game in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment, while promoting team work, fair play, and a genuine love for the game. Our experienced instructors work hard to develop the skills of each camper while providing an extremely fun environment for all our campers! Our priority is to ensure that each camper has the best summer!

Field of Dreams hosts weekly theme days, weekly skills clinics with specialized instructors, pizza days, showcase days and tournament days!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING SPECIAL DATES AND EVENTS FOR THE 2023 SUMMER:

          * All campers who register before June 1, 2023 will receive a free FOD T-Shirt (anyone who registers after              June 1st we will try to get a shirt but cannot guarantee)

          * Special Event Week: Inter-Camp Wiffle Ball Championship Tournament (July 10-14, 2023)

          * Third Annual Baseball Olympics Special Event (July 31 – August 4, 2023)

          * Sixth Annual Special Event Week: Camp Wide Wiffle Ball  Tournament (August 14-18, 2023)

Week 2 (July 8-12)– We are so excited for our 5th annual our giant inter-camp wiffle ball tournament hosted at our Vaughan Camp for the summer of 2024! Campers from the Aurora and Scarborough camps will be bussed to our location on Wednesday, July 10. We will also be welcoming special guests Kevin Barker and Hazel Mae during our special event!! Each camp will have teams that enter the tournament and compete against each other for the ultimate wiffle ball championship. There will be trophies awarded to the winning team and every camper will get a special giveaway! Don’t miss out, register soon as we expect it to fill quickly!

Week 5 (July 29 – August 2) we will be running our 4th annual Baseball Olympics Special Event. The special event will take place on Wednesday July 31 (Rain date is Thursday August 1). Campers will compete in a variety of competitions to win a gold, silver or bronze medal! Every camper will also leave for the day with a special giveaway! This is going to be a day unlike any other at Field of Dreams, and one you won’t want to miss!

 Week 7 (August 12-16) Field of Dreams will be running our seventh annual Camp-Wide Wiffle Ball Tournament.  The special event will take place on Wednesday, August 14. The Vaughan camp location will break their campers up new wiffle ball teams for the day that will enter the day-long Field of Dreams tournament. There will be trophies awarded to the winning team and every camper will get a special giveaway! Don’t miss out, register soon as we expect it to fill quickly!

Please note that ‘Week 6’ is a shorter week due to the Civic holiday and long weekend. Camp will only be running for 4 days (Tues-Fri) and the registration system will automatically prorate the price
