Who are you as an organization?
Forest Hill Taekwondo offers programming for students to build and foster their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Our instructors and staff are constantly working on ways to improve and build upon our community relationships. Through school partnerships and after school classes, Forest Hill Taekwondo strives to provide a safe and inclusive space for our families, students, and community. We are proud of our work, and excited to continue serving the Forest Hill community.

What do you do differently or uniquely well?
"At Forest Hill Taekwondo our motto is "Building Confidence and Fostering Life Long Skills". In everything we do, we aim for our students to build their mental, emotional and physical confidence and gain physical and mental skills that they can take with them, not only in the sport, but anywhere they go in life! "
Who are your staff and counsellors?
"At Forest Hill Taekwondo a skilled team like no other studio in the GTA. Our Programs Head Coach is a x3 World Champ and the Former head coach of the Iran National Team and holds a fifth degree black belt from the World Taekwondo Federation. Our Camps Head Instructor is an Ontario Certified Teacher and third degree black belt holder, making her the perfect leader of a group of young children eager to have fun and learn the sport.
Our Instructors and After School Care Coordinators are all extremely skilled in their craft, caring and great leaders to all of our students!"What do families need to know about registration?

The Our Kids review of Forest Hill Taekwondo
Learning from certified black belt teachers, Forest Hill Taekwondo takes the sport to a new level. Third degree black belt, Michelle is the studio manager and her smile and calm way of being brings kids out of their shell. She has traveled and competed internationally and her worldly view of the sport makes her the best person to guide those new to the sport. On top of this, she holds her Honours B.A. in Early Childhood Studies, so she knows exactly what makes the little ones tick and can motivate them easily. The goal of the studio is to provide a safe and welcoming space for kids to practice Taekwondo. What’s unique about this studio is that it’s an entity in the community, well-known for their work with kids and their community relationships. The talented instructors always mean business, but they mean it in a way that is friendly and has kids wanting to push further.

Michelle, STUDIO MANAGER | SR.INSTRUCTOR, RECE, Honours BASc Early Childhood Studies, BPS Education
Currently holds a 3rd degree certified black belt with the World Taekwondo FederationMichelle has been practicing and training in Taekwondo for over twelve years and currently holds a 3rd degree certified black belt with the World Taekwondo Federation. She competed in Korea in 2011 at the Chuncheon Open.
Michelle has travelled to Rift Valley, Kenya to facilitate the opening of a Taekwondo school for the local community. Her skills and experience was put to great use as she guided and taught Taekwondo to students of all ages.
