GTA Mavericks Basketball Association offers year round programming in Vaughan, Thornhill and Richmond Hill including summer camps, house leagues and rep teams while also providing additional programs such as Private Training, Skill development sessions, Summer Camps and various other events throughout the year.

Our approach is what sets us apart from our competitors. We understand that every player is unique, and we tailor our training to ensure that each player receives individualized attention. Our coaches are not just experts in basketball, but they also act as mentors to our players, teaching them important life values such as discipline, hard work, leadership, and responsibility."Who are your staff and counsellors?

The team at GTA Mavericks is committed to keeping your children safe from the threat of Covid 19. We know how crucial it is to provide a healthy and nurturing environment for our young students, both in terms of their physical and mental health.
To that end, we have implemented a number of strong safeguards against the spread of this virus. Our coaches and staff members are trained in best practices for infection control, including frequent hand washing and the use of antibacterial wipes. In addition, we are providing our students with consistent education about the importance of hygiene and have implemented strict cleaning protocols for all our facilities and equipment.

GTA Mavericks’ mission, however, far eclipses basketball instruction. It was founded in 2019 with a vital aim: to provide young people with opportunities for growth on and off the court, through basketball skill development, life skills, and mentorship. Both through basketball and beyond, it aims to provide each player with a wide range of opportunities, experiences, and exceptional moments that will help shape their character, improve their social skills, and boost their resilience.

At GTA Mavericks, we are committed to providing young athletes with opportunities to develop and excel in not only their athletic abilities but in their academic success, teamwork, and healthy habits. We believe in the power of coaches as mentors to help athletes reach their fullest potential both on and off the field!
We founded this organization to create a community of support and encouragement for young athletes in the Greater Toronto Area. Our mission is to empower the youth in our community to dream big, work hard, and never give up on their goals!
We firmly believe in the potential of young athletes and the positive impact that athletic success can have on all aspects of life. We are dedicated to fostering an environment where our athletes can grow both as individuals and as teammates.
