A fully-immersive French language camp makes JOA Camp unique. Kids can attend this camp whether they have an English or French background and experience a bilingual environment. This is great for kids who might not do well in a traditional French class, as they learn as they have fun at camp. There are many exciting field trips where kids can explore, all while honing their French language skills. Kids make friendships quickly and they often become lifelong friends. Camp counselors are engaging and make things very easy for parents to send their kids to JOA Camp. The camp is organized and well-run and you can easily see this in the types of activities that kids partake in. Every week has a different explorational theme—everything from art to building to even flying squirrels. Smiles and laughter are often side effects of this camp, so parents should expect kids to come home exhausted and with a few new words in their vocabulary.
