The ESL Summer Camp at Pickering College is specially designed for international students aged 12-18 who are motivated to advance their English language skills together and to experience an overseas summer boarding vacation at our 42-acre campus. The camp is well balanced between classroom instructions and escorted outdoor activities designed for entertainment and as a means to further improve on the English language. Class sizes are kept small at 12-15 pax for students to benefit from the personalized attention. All aspects of the program also provide opportunity for leadership development and personal growth through peer support, creative problem-solving and team-building. The camp finishes with a TOEFL Junior assessment.
The 4 Week “All Inclusive” ESL Camp fee/tuition of CAD$5,600 consists of:
- 110 hours per week of ESL language instruction
- TOEFL Junior Assessment, Individual Study Report and Certificate of Completion
- 24/7 supervision by Pickering College staff
- Comfortable accommodation in a modern twin-bed and study room
- Daily nutritious meals 3 times per day plus fruits and snacks
- Health insurance during the program
- Airport Transfer
- Camp Memorabilia – Camp T-shirt and personal USB loaded with Camp Photos
- Notarized Custodianship Declaration (if required)
- On-campus daily sports and recreational activities including (subject to changes):
- Sports: Soccer, Volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee, Baseball
- Recreational: Baking, Drama, Crafts, Scrap booking, Sculpting
- All escorted off-campus weekend and evening social travel programs, including (subject to changes):
- 3D2N Leadership Development & Teambuilding Trip to an Outdoor Recreation Centre.
- Day trip to Niagara Falls, ROM Museum, Canada’s Wonderland, University Campus Tours, Scavenger Hunt, Toronto Blue Jays baseball game, Medieval Times Dinner and Show, CN Tower, Shopping at Upper Canada Mall, Laser Quest, etc. (Final and complete schedule of activities will be sent to each camper in May, 2019.)

Pickering College offers a CAD$200 discount for students who:
- Register prior to March 1, 2018 or,
- Register for both sessions or,
- Are a returning Camper or,
- Are a Pickering College Boarding Student registered for 2018-2019 School year
