For Kids Who Love Robots: Fun Robotics Day Camps at Crescent This Summer

This summer, Crescent Camps offers four camps specifically designed for girls and boys who love building robots.

Whether they are learning the basics or working on advanced robotics projects, all campers will be mentored by supportive, qualified instructors. The campers will acquire technical skills and even more importantly will learn the importance of teamwork, creative thinking and problem-solving to achieve a goal.

The Summer 2019 robotics day camps offered by Crescent Camps are:

• Introduction to Robotics (10-12 years) - Campers will use VEX IQ robotics kits to develop strong technical, assembly and project management skills
• VEX IQ Robotics Competition (11-13 years) - Campers will strengthen their competition skills with topics from the 2019/2020 VEX IQ Challenge
• Advanced Robotics (13-14 years) – Campers will expand their robotics skills with an introduction to CAD, Robot C and CNC router skills in a challenge-based setting
• Artificial Intelligence: Object Detection (11-14 years) - Campers will use Cozmo and Python to explore image processing and develop computer vision projects which can detect certain color/shape
