Last chance to participate in Imagine Architecture 2025

Carleton University's Imagine Architecture program is offering a one-week online workshop, from July 28 to August 1, for high school students interested in gaining experience in design thinking and making.

LAB 101 Online is the last chance to participate in Imagine Architecture 2025. Students will develop new creative skills and understand what is required for an undergraduate portfolio.

During the week, participants will discover the architectural design process through architectural drawing conventions, line weights, mixed media, model-making, and transforming the physical to digital.

Students will design an architectural intervention, guided by prompts, starting with a site analysis and concluding with a curated exhibition of final work.

They will spend the week under the enthusiastic and caring guidance of instructors Daphne Stams and Adonis Lau, and studio assistant Noah Chatel.

LAB 101 Online is a great option for students who are unable to attend Imagine Architecture in person. It's also a wonderful opportunity for those who did attend on campus and would like an extra week of instruction, inspiration, and skills-building.

Imagine Architecture is a career exploratory studio, taught by instructors from Carleton University’s Azrieli School of Architecture & Urbanism. The fun and intensive workshops introduce students to the creative culture of design studio, which is at the core of the Bachelor of Architectural Studies (BAS) curriculum.
