What's New For 2022?
Heading into next summer, here's what we have in the works:
1. Covid Management
While we are hopeful that Covid will have minimal effects to camp in 2022, we will also be ready to continue screening processes and cohort management. With the experience of last summer under our belt, we will continue to innovate and improve upon operations when needed, but feel very confident in our ability to provide excellence in camping for your kids next summer.
2. The Return of Programs & Canoe Trips
While we are not living in a world or certainty, Can-Aqua has been working to re-establish all programs that were removed due to Covid in 2021. As a result, we are looking forward to bringing back Horseback Riding, Fencing, Instructional Swim, Mosaics, Glass Etching, Paudash Wakeboarding, and our overnight canoe camping trips.
3. Kinder Village
We will be running single weeks sessions in 2022 as an independent cohort after a year of success within the village section of camp. In previous years, single week kids were slotted into the programming around the two week schedule. Beginning next summer, one weekers will enjoy a schedule that is organized specifically for them. Operating independent of all other camp sessions, the kinder village campers will play together, eat together, and start and finish their session together.
As we move forward in preparation for camp, we are planning for the summer we want to have, while also ensuring we are able to pivot, innovate and amend our programs in support of health and safety.
