UBC Geering Up's STEM camps are now open for registration!

UBC Geering Up’s mission is to make STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) exciting and accessible for ALL students! Dedicated to empowering and inspiring K-12 B.C. youth to explore STEM, they offer summer camps for elementary school students across Greater Vancouver and the Okanagan. These dynamic, 5-day and 4-day camps feature hands-on experiments and creative projects that spark curiosity and foster a love for STEM. Designed to be beginner-friendly and fun, the programs provide the perfect introduction to the world of innovation. Explore their 2026 offerings at geeringup.ca.

Geering Up offer camps at UBC Vancouver and UBC Okanagan, as well as in Surrey, Richmond, Port Coquitlam and North Vancouver. The award-winning program has run STEM summer camps for over 30 years.

Camps are available for students going into grades 1 through 12 fall of 2026. Themes vary by age and location. All Girls* camps are available at each location.

*We use the words “girls” and “women” with an asterisk (*) to intentionally include students and stakeholders who are underrepresented in STEM fields.
