This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Responsibility: Learn the skills to be a junior camp counsellor from certified teacher camp counsellors.
  • Curiosity: Enjoy learning new activities and skills with access to high tech equipment and hands on activities.

Learn the skills required to become a “junior camp counsellor” during Ontario Tech’s 2023 Summer Camps. Participants will receive training in various camp activities. After the successful completion of this training session, attendees will have the opportunity to volunteer for 2023 camp programming at Ontario Tech (1 to 3 weeks). These hours can be used for high school volunteer time. A staff member will sign-off on the earned volunteer hours at the end of the summer! 

*Campers must be finished grade 9.
