Discover, create, and innovate in this hands-on, high-energy program designed for high school girls! Over four exciting days, participants explore multiple fields of engineering through interactive challenges and creative projects that bring real-world problems to life. Participants will investigate how engineers utilize technology, coding, and the Engineering Design Process to solve complex challenges, acquiring skills such as programming, 3D modelling, and prototyping along the way.
The program theme draws inspiration from the world of high-performance racing to explore speed, strategy, and innovation in engineering. Participants will delve into concepts from electrical, software, and mechanical engineering, designing systems, programming sensors and lights, creating custom parts with 3D modelling tools, and working on team projects. Along the way, they’ll see firsthand why women are essential in engineering, and how girls can make a difference in traditionally male-dominated fields like Formula 1 and beyond.
By the end of the week, participants will have built confidence, strengthened problem-solving skills, and challenged traditional gender stereotypes in engineering, all while having fun, collaborating with peers, and exploring what it means to think and act like an engineer.
This program features the same content as the Summer 2025 Connected Engineering Camp.
