Try a Day at Stanley Park’s EcoCamp

Curious about EcoCamp, but not ready to commit to the full week? Stanley Park Ecology’s Try It Out Day gives children ages 7 to 11 the chance to experience a day of outdoor adventure, nature discovery, and hands-on exploration in the heart of Stanley Park.

Campers may explore forest trails, beaches, wetlands, wildlife habitats, and rocky shorelines while taking part in games, creative activities, and curiosity-led learning. Each day is designed to be fun, safe, inclusive, and engaging, with outdoor adventures balanced by indoor breaks at our basecamp in the Stanley Park Pavilion.

The Try It Out option is available for $75 per day and may be used once per camper, per year. If your child loves the experience, they can continue for the remainder of the week, provided payment is received by 8:30 am the day following the trial day.

Trial Day Details

EcoCamp runs Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 4 pm
Pick-up and drop-off take place at our indoor basecamp, upstairs in the Stanley Park Pavilion
Trial days are available during regular summer EcoCamp weeks, based on space availability
An information package is sent before camp and includes a waiver, daily activity details, and what to pack, including snacks, lunch, and extra clothing

Summer activities may include water play at the Splash Park in Stanley Park.
