About this Day Camp

Strathcona-Tweedsmuir School Camps, Theatre Camp 6-12 years with Storybook Theatre

This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Creativity: Campers will be asked to participate in all levels of creation of a play.
  • Courage: Being part of a production encourages individuals to take risks, try new things, and embrace vulnerability, all of which are essential components of courage.

Join us this summer as we take our students on a theatre journey to create their play all within a safe space. Students and their instructor will write, produce, cast and rehearse a show, culminating in a final presentation for families on the last day of camp. The show will use contributions made by every student, giving them ownership over the final product.

Aftercare available for children ages 4-11 until 4:30 for a fee.
