The STEAM Project, Summer Specialty Course - 3D Printing (Gr. 5-8 - Spring

  • Program
  • Age 9 - 14 (Coed)
  • Specialized in 3D Printing and STEAM—offers 6 activities
  • 3 session dates to choose from
  • Cost starting from $299
  • Busing not available
  • Special needs support not available  

Students will have the opportunity to create a variety of projects using 3D modelling software (Tinkercad) and learn how to use slicer software to optimize their designs before printing. Additionally, students will be taught how to operate and maintain different kinds of 3D printers. This course emphasizes how 3D printing can be used for real-world applications and by the end, students will be equipped with all the tools needed to create and print functional prototypes for everyday use! 

  • PM 3D Printing Course can be paired with our AM Battle Bots Course for a full day option of 9AM-4PM
  • There is a $75.00+HST material fee added on top of the course fee
  • Specialty Course fees include HST
  • Meal Plans are not available for our PM ONLY Courses
  • Courses will NOT run on Monday, August 3rd for the Civic Holiday
