This camp is designed to build the following character traits:

  • Curiosity: Learning about plants requires keen observation, problem-solving and environmental awareness which can inspire a deeper understanding of nature around them. Our themed activities are designed to keep children curious and develop an appreciation for continued learning from the Garden and beyond.
  • Creativity: Gardening and Nature Art, for example, provides a creative outlet for children. Each camp day consists of a take-home craft that encourages children to experiment with different found natural objects and engage in hands-on games/activities as well as play-based learning.

Join TBGKids for interactive, educational and engaging activities in TBG’s cozy nature-themed classroom, expansive garden and the nearby ravine.

From Wild Wonderful Plants to Teeny Tiny Gardening, campers will create nature-themed art, learn about plants and animals through hands-on activities, embark on a scavenger hunt, and, of course, decorate their own pot to plant in it. Each camper ages 5-10 will create a themed craft to take home at the end of the camp day.

Get ready to explore fascinating plants from around the world! Campers will dive into the world of plants, discover how they adapt to their special habitats, sprout seeds to tend and try at the end of the week!

Tuesday, March 12 – Nature Art

Thursday, March 14 – Teeny Tiny Gardening
With a a focus on nature in miniature, campers will use their decorated pots from the nature art-themed day to make a beautiful mini garden to take home and participate in a seed-saving activity. Teeny Tiny Gardening promises a memorable and enchanting experience for campers, where big imaginations meet small gardens.

Friday, March 15 – Garden-to-Table
