Across Ontario, there are several dedicated schools for the deaf and hard-of-hearing students, including day and residential programs in Toronto, Ottawa, Hamilton, Kingston, London, and Mississauga. These schools provide tailored learning environments with accommodations, assistive technologies, and teaching strategies designed to meet each student’s needs. Families may also consider mainstream Ontario private schools that integrate support for hearing-impaired students within inclusive classrooms.
