The wonderful world of sports is mostly limited to the best known, watched or played sports, but each country has a sport that is unique to their own culture or history. These sports may have originated there or perhaps they adapted it to make it their own. Global Sports Challenge is taking a closer look at some sports that aren’t as mainstream in North America, yet genuinely true sports of the world!
Athletes will enjoy new skills and strategy from different sports such as: Gaelic Football, Cricket, Disc Golf, Rugby, Lacrosse, Aussie Rules, Quidditch, Jai Alai, Ga-Ga Ball and many more! Daily World Cups, tournaments, and other sport-specific traditions will be a part of this exciting new camp program. Grouped according to age and ability, the program also includes supervised recreational activities such as swimming as well as a nutritious lunch, with hot selections in Appleby’s cafeteria.
