Barnburner Hockey Academy offers a truly unique hockey training experience, blending cutting-edge technology with expert coaching to help players achieve measurable results. We’re the only program featuring side-by-side skating treadmills with AI analysis, synthetic ice shooting lanes, and a dedicated dryland training gym—all under one roof. Our low coach-to-player ratio ensures personalized feedback, helping players refine their stride mechanics and develop a well-rounded skill profile. Players then apply what the learn off-ice in our on-ice sessions at RINX, promoting seamless skill development. With a clean, safe, and engaging environment, we focus on building confidence, skills, and a love for the game!

OUR KIDS review of Barnburner Hockey Academy
Rob Gherson and his team have set out to create something unique in hockey training, combining next-level technology with elite, experienced coaching. A few standout features here include AI-powered analysis of skating techniques, synthetic ice shooting lanes, and a training gym. Those state-of-the-art facilities have attracted a strong staff, too. Several coaches have more than ten years of experience teaching and training kids, on top of years of professional and international hockey. And the size of the coaching team means small groups where kids get individual attention, so they learn and get confident faster.

A Barnburner Birthday Party is a competitive and fun option for kids to battle it out in teams across various athletic challenges.
Duration: 2.5 hours (2 hours of activities + 30 minutes in the party room)
Activities:
- Mini-Sticks Tournament: Fast-paced and exciting mini-sticks games.
- Fitness Challenges: Includes a fitness assessment, reaction time games, and relay races.
- Team Competitions: Tug of war and tail tag matches to crown the ultimate champions.
Details: Teams will be created, and each team will compete in all activities.
Cost: $450 for up to 12 participants + $15 per additional participant (up to 20)
Maximum number of participants: 20.
