The Bayview Village Tennis Camps are conducting eleven one-week tennis sessions throughout the summer at the Bayview Village Tennis Club. Beginner and Intermediate students will participate at a 6:1 ratio, while advanced and tournament level playerswill practice at a 4:1 ratio. Juniors may choose one of two programs offered, (full day or half day). The full day program runs 9am to 4pm and contains four hours of the highest quality of on court tennis instruction, two hours of off court sporting activities and a one hour lunch period. Extended hours are available (8am - 9am and 4pm - 6pm at $5 per hr. The half day program operates from 1pm to 4pm, exclusively focusing on tennis instruction. Breaks are scheduled throughout the day. The Bayview Village Tennis Camp is now in its 27th year of operation. Since 1989 the BVTC has won the outstanding Jr. achievement award presented by the O.T.A. 15 of the last 20 years! Juniors receive a video analysis, a written evaluation and the benifits of a proven system endorsed by the Ontario Tennis Association and Tennis Canada.

Lead by tennis camp director Peter Neilsen, the Tennis Canada certified teaching staff provide a great atmosphere for students of all ages and abilities. Below are the profiles of Director Peter Neilsen and Assistant Pros Shaun Campbell and Adam Dykes. Peter Neilsen, along with the Assistant ProâÂÂs are available for private lessons. Please do not hesitate to contact any member of the teaching staff for information on any program offered at the Bayview Village Tennis Club.
Peter Nielsen
Head Pro/Tennis Camp Director Peter has successfully worked with juniors at all levels of the game, from grass roots to the international level. A National Senior Champion himself, Peter was employed as a National Coach by Tennis Canada as the head coach of the Central Region High Performance Program. Peter has been Head Pro for over 22 years at BVTC and has exceptional experience teaching all levels of tennis. Please do not hesitate to contact Peter directly with any questions you might have!
Shaun Campbell
Assistant Pro Shaun has been instructing tennis to juniors and adults for six years. He is in his third year as Assistant Pro at BVTC and continues to assist with camp oversight and providing both adult and private lessons. Assistant Pro Adam has been training and coaching with Head Pro Peter Neilsen for over 10 years. He continues to focus on assisting Peter in developing high performance juniors as well as conducting adult and private lessons.

The Bayview Village Tennis Camp conducts one-week tennis sessions throughout the summer tennis season at the Bayview Village Tennis Club. All program content is implemented by Tennis Canada certified tennis professionals. Players may choose one of two programs offered.
Full Day - Runs 9:00 am to 4:00 pm - Four hours of on-court instruction - Two hours of off court sports - Two Lunch Options (a)Bring own lunch (b)Supervised lunch at Bayview Village shopping centre - Breaks scheduled throughout the day
Half Day - Runs 1:00pm to 4:00pm - Three hours of on-court instruction - Two scheduled 15 minute breaks Extended hours are available on an as required basis. These hours are charged at $5.00/hour per child. Available between 8:00 am to 9:00 am and 4:00pm to 6:00 pm
All Players Will Receive - Video Analysis - Testing for Tennis Canada Playing Certificates - The benefits of a proven system endorsed by Tennis Canada. Please complete our application form to register for spring, summer or fall programs.
