Director's Message
Joanna Solomon, Chief Executive Officer, Benchmark Equestrian Inc.
Benchmark Equestrian Inc. was founded to fill a gap in the equestrian industry in Ontario. As a rider who competed as a junior and amateur in the sport, I recognized a sharp decline in the number of people signing up for riding lessons or horseback riding camps and I realized that the commutable, safe, professional barns were few and far between.
After a career in executive search, I realized how important it was to me to reinvigorate the industry and found a new grass roots professional riding academy with quality horses and top-tier foundational instruction.
In 2016 Benchmark Equestrian was founded and just 5 years later expanded to purchase Stonewood Equestrian. Our goal is to keep growing and providing a safe and quality learning environment for riders of all levels and ambitions!
