I enrolled my daughter for two Idea Labs camps this summer. She is currently finishing the first one which includes cooking and learning different recipes and experimenting with food. The experience with Idealabs has been fantastic since the first time I reached out for additional information till now. They are very professional, they have a solid system in place that takes care of the kids & their safety while keeping parents informed. Their teachers are so friendly, my daughter is always looking forward for the day & happy and upbeat when I pick her up. She also mentioned how respectful kids in her class are and how supportive teachers are. She is 6! And yes she noticed the difference between idealabs & other camps already. I had my 6 years old son join summer camp for the past two years. He did the Veterinary Camp and the Amazon Time Travellers Camp. He had so much fun doing all of the unique activities. The rainforest in a jar was quite impressive! The place looks lovely - very colourful and clean. We enrolled our five-year old in two weeks of summer camp (Dinosaur camp and Tinker camp half-days). She had such a great time, both weeks, was very engaged, and was thrilled with her instructors and the activities. We had my daughter's 7th birthday party at IDEA Lab Kids Pickering at the end of July and it was such a great experience! She picked the cupcake party and I was so impressed that they made the cupcakes from scratch. The instructor walked the kids through each step including measuring each ingredient with a scale. It was very interactive and the kids enjoyed participating in all parts of the baking process including decorating the cupcakes at the end. We ordered pizzas and IDEA Lab Kids provided juice boxes and even trays of treats like chocolate and candies for the kids. Cristina and her team were very professional and friendly and made us all feel so welcome and comfortable for the entire time we were there. I am so glad we chose this place for a birthday party. My son attended a week long program in August. We were really nervous as he hadn't started school yet and has been isolated with the pandemic. The staff were really understanding and accommodating and he loved it. We felt they did such a great job keeping everyone safe and our son was engaged and learned a lot. Idea Labs were great and professional! My daughter enjoyed the online kinetic science class so much that she was sad that it was going to end. She always showed us what she made everyday and had so much enthusiasm going into class! The teachers are very patient, clear when instructing and so much fun! My boys did the Minecraft Coding and Cooking camps. Both classes were very well run. The instructors were fantastic and kept the kids engaged. I would highly recommend Idea Lab Kids to any and all parents.

My six year old really enjoyed the Time Traveller Amazon virtual camp and loved the arts/crafts. it was also nice that my three year old could also participate in the lessons and crafts when was interested. Makhi was eager to take the Culinary course! He enjoyed making the delicious snacks. He made tasty bruschetta, cheese and chive scones, strawberry shortcake snacks and pizza on skewers. I enrolled my 9 year old son in the Coding, Programming + Minecraft iCamp. He was a little hesitant at first but it turned out very well. He was engaged the whole time and had so much fun. My son did the Pet Vet Hospital Tour iCamp and the activities were unique and fun. He loved baking dog cookies and making a toy for our cat. He also made blood (platelets, red/white cells, plasma) using assorted candy and oil. Ms. Nadra was fun, kind, patient and attentive. Short dance segments helped break up the 2 hour session.
