The course will use Scratch, a block-based programming tool developed by MIT, to teach young students the concepts of computer science through a visual interface.
Throughout the course, students will be introduced to fundamental concepts of computer science through various engaging interactive visual activities such as the creation of animations, games, and interactive stories.
With an emphasis on hand-on projects and creation, this course will allow young students to become comfortable with computer science concepts, and provide them the foundation needed to program in higher level programming languages such as Python and Java.
Grades: 2 – 5
Skill level: Beginner
Prerequisite: None. This course is for absolute beginner!
