Camp is, of course, many things. It’s about challenging yourself, taking risks, and building confidence in yourself. It’s also about relaxing, smelling the roses, watching a snail make its way across a leaf.
But, more than anything else, it’s about making new friends, building new relationships and strengthening existing ones. With that in mind, we’d like to honor some of the camps that we’re proud to have built, in various ways, very significant relationships with.
In the years to come we will be choosing camps to induct, one each year, and the decision will be based on a range of factors, including the work that they do, and the place that they hold within the Our Kids community of camps. We’ll then celebrate them at the camp expo held in Toronto each February.
