Arrowhead Camp is where memories are made for girls and boys 6 to 16. Situated along the sandy shores of Lake of Bays, Muskoka. We provide a staff-to-camper ratio of 1:3, which guarantees personal attention and individual instruction in all aspects of camp life. We offer three two-week sessions; four one-week sessions; two three-night Junior Camp sessions; and two four-week Leader-in-Training sessions for 16-year-old campers. Campers have every opportunity to participate in all of our camp programs and activities without the need to sign up in advance. They live in fully equipped cabins with showers and washrooms. Programming clusters around traditional camp activities, including sailing, swimming, and the arts. The sense of participation within a longer tradition is signaled within the culture of the camp and elsewhere, including the buildings, some of which, while updated and modernized, have been in use since the site was first developed as a girls’ camp in 1954. The camp community is smaller than some, allowing for a very close-knit feel, something that is a draw for the families that enroll. Programming rightly makes the most of the natural resources, including the surrounding woodland and the lake, and while the sun is shining, campers are out there, engaging with all of it. It’s an active day, and the intention is to allow kids to get some of their beans out while building confidence in their abilities and a sense of their place in the world.

Is Arrowhead Camp technology free? To unplug from the outside world, we ask that Campers do not bring any technology that has the ability to connect to the internet or wireless servers. Parents are welcome to send emails to their campers (we deliver these daily with the mail) or they can call and speak to one of our office staff to get some feedback on how their camper is doing!
