Camp Frenda

  Greetings Camp Frenda friends and families, It is with humility and excitement that I introduce myself.  My name is Jason Perkins, and I am a Camp Frenda alumnus who loves this camp. The history of Camp Frenda begins back in South River in 1945, with our original camp. Camp Frenda, in its current location, has been providing an amazing camp experience since 1976. Over the years there have been many outstanding camp directors who have contributed to the growth and the ministry of Camp Frenda.  For many years my father, my mother, both of my brothers and I worked at camp. Camp Frenda has made such an impact that my wife and our own children worked at camp as well. The impression that Camp Frenda has left on, not just myself, but many members of my family are just some of the reasons why I love for Camp Frenda. While education is my profession, I have always appreciated nature and what can be learned and experienced by spending time in the great outdoors. On the shores of Lake Rosseau, in beautify Muskoka, you can experience nature as well.  At Camp Frenda you will be able to start your own adventure.  With so many fun activities to choose from like Waterskiing, Horsemanship, Crafts, Sailing, High Ropes, or Rock Climbing, to Swimming, Rocketry, Archery or Mountain Biking, there is fun, even in the choosing.  Don't just take my word for it, I strongly urge you to come and see what Camp Frenda has to offer.  On behalf of the staff Camp Frenda, we hope to see you this coming summer.   Sincerely, Jason Perkins  Director, Camp Frenda.
