This camp is designed to build the following character traits:
Self-regulation: Sport is emotional. Learning to regulate your emotions after a loss, or failure is a life skill that sport teaches over and over again. Our life skill curriculum highlights how to self-regulate in sports and in life.
Resilience: Sport provides athletes an environment where trying new things and failing at them is normal and in fact, encouraged. Through our life skills curriculum, athletes learn that in order to succeed they must be willing to step outside their comfort zone and work to turn failure into success.
The Elite Camps High-Performance Camp is designed with the goal in mind to enhance athletes work ethic, skill development, and basketball IQ. Skills and drills are developed to engage athletes in gameplay breakdown on the offensive and defensive end of the court. While improving on skills, athletes will hone in on their goals pertaining to the game. Athletes will be coached by current or alumni college, university, and pro-level players. High-Performance Camp is for higher-level athletes.
