Elite Camps offers year-round basketball programs in the GTA, led by skilled coaches, that meet the needs of all players from beginner to advanced- ages 4-17! Established in 1999, our programs include day camps, weekly lessons, house leagues, the Elite Advanced Basketball Academy, and our Hoop Dreams Overnight Basketball Camp, located in the South Bruce Peninsula.

At Elite Camps, we pride ourselves in our ability to communicate with families. We have a dedicated admin team that answers the phones & emails seven days a week.
Registration for our programs is online.
Our programs usually fill a season in advance, so we always recommend that parents don't wait last minute to register to avoid disappointment.

Meet the Staff
Director's Message
Stephanie founded Elite Camps in 1999. She graduated from the University of Toronto’s Physical and Health Education Program with a Physical and Health Education degree and is a Level Two NCCP-certified coach. While at the University of Toronto, Stephanie spent four years playing for the Women’s Varsity Blues basketball team.
Throughout this career, her team captured two provincial titles and a silver medal at the 1996 Canadian University National Championships. In her final season with the Blues, Stephanie was named an Ontario University (OUA) All-Star.
Once Stephanie completed her playing career, her focus shifted to improving the skills of Canadian basketball players. Stephanie created Elite Camps to achieve this goal.
Staff and Counsellors
We have a full-time team, dedicated year-round to Elite Camps - to designing, overseeing, and improving our programs and ensuring athlete's needs are met. This team includes coaches with many years of experience coaching youth basketball skill development, playing experience at the college/university or professional level, and certified personal trainers, strength and conditioning coaches and NCCP-certified coaches.
The summer team grows to over 100 staff. The majority of the summer staff will be current college/university or pro-level players who coach in their off-season. The remaining staff are coaches who play or played high school basketball, were former campers and/or Academy athletes trained in our teaching approach and camp culture. -

Elite Camps Outdoor Leadership Centre - Home of Hoop Dreams - Just over 2.5 hours from Toronto, the South Bruce Peninsula is the perfect location for campers to escape the city and truly experience an Ontario summer camp experience. The Elite Camps Outdoor Leadership Centre is a 75 acre property and has it all; basketball courts overlooking the lake, a stunning waterfront, newly constructed air-conditioned cabins and an assortment of outdoor land and waterfront activities.Accommodations

More details about accommodations: Campers live in our newly constructed cabins housing 12 campers and 2 coaches. Every cabin at Elite Camps has washrooms with flush toilets and hot and cold running showers. All cabins are equipped with air conditioners to keep our athletes comfortable in the hot summer months.

Is Elite Basketball Camps technology free? Yes. Phones are not allowed at our overnight camp.
