FOREST THERAPY AT THE MCMICHAEL
Event by:
McMichael Canadian Art Collection—Camps and Programs
Led by Emily Pleasance, an artist and certified Nature & Forest Therapy Guide, this program is designed to help you slow down, drop into the body, and better connect with yourself and the natural world. Inspired by the Japanese practice of ‘Shinrin-Yoku’, Forest Therapy draws on the interconnectedness humans have with our natural environment. Through embodiment and relaxation practices, it will teach you how to see nature as a supportive resource.
Program runs rain or shine (umbrellas will be provided). Weather-appropriate attire recommended and be sure to have water with you.
No previous skills required. For ages 16+
