SHADOW DAY PROGRAM

Event by: Globe Cambridge School Summer Camp
We are pleased to welcome prospective students to Globe Cambridge School for our Shadow Day Program, offering an authentic opportunity to experience a day in the life of a GCS student.

Grounded in the principles of Benevolence and Excellence, our Shadow Day is designed to reflect the values, academic culture, and sense of community that define daily life at GCS. Through meaningful interaction with current students and faculty, participants gain insight into what makes our school a distinctive and supportive learning environment.

Program Goals

Experience the daily academic and social life of a GCS student

Engage in classroom learning led by experienced educators

Explore personal interests while discovering new areas of learning

Build genuine connections with students and faculty

Program Experience

The day begins at 8:30 a.m., when visiting students are welcomed on campus and provided with a personalized schedule. Each participant is paired with a current GCS student, who will accompany them throughout the day and help them navigate classes, transitions, and school life.

Students will attend a full sequence of classes, participate in discussions, and experience our collaborative classroom culture firsthand. Lunch is enjoyed alongside fellow visiting students and current students in the cafeteria, providing time to connect, reflect, and recharge.

The academic day concludes at 3:00 p.m., followed by an opportunity to unwind and participate in selected afterschool clubs and activities.

Please bring a packed lunch. Refrigeration is available if required.
